On September 21, 2018 at Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, Mr. Phan Quoc Vinh – General Director of Sieu Chung Ky Joint Stock Company had shared some of his experiences at the conference hosted by Armstrong – South East Asia branch.

With more than 20 years of experience in the field of design consultancy, Mr. Phan Quoc Vinh had worked for multiple clients, from private enterprises to state-owned enterprises. He said that most of the clients just concerned about how their projects will look like in the end but not really care about the important of technical elements. And because of that, design consultant must bring out solution for the technical problems for their client’s project.

The consultancy must be proceed right from the start of the project. When look at the position of the project, beside the look and functions of the project, noise problem also need to be concerned. For example, if a hotel project is build around the school area, market or highway, the noise solutions need to be noted, not just where the hotel is located or how beauty it is. Mr. Vinh shared that as the customer stay in the hotel, he is sometimes annoyed by the noise around the hotel.

The consultants should give their clients advises and solutions to problems. In interior design and consultancy, we should balance between look and functions of the project. Sound insulation solutions cannot only from the acoustical wall panels, but also from acoustical ceiling and floor.

People see noise problem as a commonplace and get used to living with it.

The conference took place in 2 days to shared some experiences between the suppliers, design consultants and investors in Vietnam in particular and South East Asia in general.

This is the role of architects, design consultant and construction in general and Sieu Chung Ky Joint Stock Company in particular.
