Wooden Furniture Manufacturing Factory of Sieu Chung Ky Joint Stock Company held the soft opening ceremony on November 6, 2019 in Long Hau industrial park, Long An province, declaring that the factory is ready for official production.

The soft opening ceremony took place at SCK factory in Long Hau industrial park on November 6.

The ceremony has officially marked an important milestone of the factory’s operation, initially confirming that the Sieu Chung Ky’s production capacity always ensures the supply of high quality products and progress for clients and projects.

The factory has set a great impression for the large-scale construction site of more than 8,000 square meters in Long Hau industrial park and the application of modern construction technologies implemented by prestigious local and foreign contractors such as Solutions and Sanyo…. It is also special for being one of the first wooden furniture factories in Vietnam that is designed to  meet the LEED green building certification – a US international standard system which ensures sustainable energy usage and management through the synchronous design of items ranging from the center vacuum system to lighting and sensor systems, energy measuring  and solar power systems. At the same time, the management of emission into the environment is conducted through the reasonable design and planning of waste storage and sanitary areas, ensuring standard green cover.

SCK factory is designed to meet LEED green building certification.

Especially, SCK’s Factory in Long Hau applies Bazis Mebelshik manufacturing design software that supports the entire furniture manufacturing process from design, bill of quantity (BOQ), estimating materials, saws controlling, drilling machines, warehouse management supplies, packaging, etc. The factory possesses a synchronous and automated production completion cycle, providing optimal performance.

After more than a half year of construction, with a total investment of over VND200 billion (USD 8.6 million), the Wooden Furniture Manufacturing Factory, which is an important item of the Production Complex of Sieu Chung Ky Joint Stock Company, has gradually completed its infrastructure and been equipped with modern machines and equipment imported from European countries such as Germany, Poland and Italy etc. The Factory is ready for production in order to not only meet domestic demand but also reach the target of mastering the value chain of furniture production exported to foreign markets. At the same time, the factory is aimed to become a furniture supplier for major partners in the world with the expected monthly capacity of up to 2,100 chairs, 530 sets of standard kitchen cabinets, and 810 sets of doors as well as a daily capacity of 650 square meters of self-UV coating.

The factory is equipped with modern machines and equipment.

The ceremony took place successfully, paving the way for the next production chain of the factory to reach out to foreign markets, targeting the international supply chain and diversifying customers.  Through the potential of comprehensive cooperation between SCK and Singapore’s Shanghai Chong Kee Company, SCK’s products will be able to be exported to foreign markets such as Myanmar and Sri Lanka in the near future.
